We consult on issues surrounding food, energy, water, biodiversity, natural resources management, infrastructure, development, and governance. We are particularly invested in helping mitigate and address the socio-political, environmental and economic challenges of climate change.
We conduct independent research on current and emerging issues in Bhutan and wider Asia.
Our core team and collaborating partners comprise of practitioners, industry experts and thought leaders with experience across government, finance, academia, civil society, grassroots organizations and the private sector.




Thinley Choden, Chief Executive Officer

Thinley has the breadth and depth of adaptive leadership as a social entrepreneur, consultant possessing a portfolio of career that spans from Bhutan to US to India and across disciplines and sectors. She is passionate about entrepreneurial solution building in climate change, green/circular economy, governance, youth and talent. She is a Climate Reality Leader. 

In addition to consultancy, she started an impact travel company, founded a successful non-profit organization and is founding curator for Global Shapers Thimphu Hub. She is active as a film producer, Bhutan Country Advisor for Give2Asia (a grant making organization based in San Francisco) and a strong advocate for social enterprise and entrepreneurship. She volunteers her time mentoring young people and other social services. 


Ms. Choden is part of prestigious globally competitive programs like Vital Voices GROW Women Entrepreneur Fellowship (2020), Acumen Global Fellow (2016/2017), Cordes Fellow (2017), Asian Feminist Fellow at Ewha University, Seoul (2016), Draper Hills Fellow at Stanford University (2015), Asia Pacific Leadership Fellow at East-West Center (2002/2003).  


She holds an Executive Certificate in Strategic Decision Making from Wharton Business School, a MPA and a certificate on Disaster Management and Humanitarian Assistance from University of Hawaii, Manoa, and a BA in Economics and minor in International Relations from Beloit College, Wisconsin.

She loves staying actively healthy and traveling. She enjoys running and outdoor adventures like hikes/treks
